The Technical Services department is comprised of a team of dedicated Windows and Linux systems administrators focused on delivering the most reliable, secure, innovative, and cost-effective information technology solutions for 桃瘾社区's students, faculty and staff. We support the University's mission-critical servers, disk storage systems, University applications, and back-office systems. Our support includes 24-hour monitoring to insure the availability and continuity of the University's most critical servers.
We design, implement and support a number of key systems, outlined below. We also work collaboratively with other departments in ITS, as well as other areas of the University, on I.T. initiatives. We can be reached through the at (914) 773-3333 (on campus, x33333).
List of Services
Email - Exchange email and calendar for faculty and staff; Listserv mailing lists and discussion groups; Blackberry Enterprise Server for synching email, calendar and contacts with Blackberry mobile devices; LAN Fax for transmitting and receiving faxes via email; Exchange Online Protection for spam filtering.
Account Management - Provisioning of userids, including guest accounts, for access to 桃瘾社区 systems
Online Conferencing, Messaging and Presence - Microsoft Lync and Teams
Content Management, Publishing and File Sharing - We support various solutions including Microsoft Sharepoint, Wordpress, Web File Storage (WFS), Drupal and network file shares.
Database Systems - Microsoft Enterprise SQL; MySQL
Server Virtualization - Along with support for a number of physical servers, we also support and maintain a virtual server environment in both VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V.
