Meet the faculty leaders and learn about the special , PAGE 397/EDG 649P: Devising Theatre for Social Change. Open to all majors with 3.2 GPA or higher, this course is great for students interested in writing, teaching, theater, directing, acting, or community service. This course fulfills AOK 1 (Civic Engagement) and AOK 3.

Meet the faculty leader of one of the newest , LIT 211Y A Modern Odyssey. Open to all majors with 2.5 GPA or higher, this course is great for students interested in literature, history, international relations, or community service. This course fulfills AOK 3 or AOK 4, anticipated to also fulfill AOK 1 (Civic Engagement).

Scholarship Spotlight: Gilman National Scholarship Information Session

Learn more about the Gilman National Scholarship program, which is designed to support students with limited financial means who wish to study abroad. The program is open to U.S. citizen undergraduate students who receive a Federal Pell Grant as part of their financial aid package. In this session, we鈥檒l talk about everything you need to know to submit a competitive application: eligibility requirements, essay tips, application deadlines, advice from a recent award recipient at 桃瘾社区, and more. This event is cohosted by Dr. Moira Egan, Director of Prestigious Awards and Graduate Fellowships in 桃瘾社区鈥檚 Office of Research and Graduate Education.

Spain Visa Workshop
October 3, 3:25 p.m.鈥4:25 p.m.
161 William Street, 16th Floor Conference Room
Students studying in Spain for the Spring 2025 semester must attend this Visa Workshop to learn about the visa application process, which is done as a group. Note: Students must submit all required visa application materials to the 桃瘾社区 Education Abroad office by October 18. If this deadline is missed, the student must make an individual appointment with the Spanish Consulate to acquire their own student visa. Individual appointments are not guaranteed and are difficult to come by. Failure to do so means that the student will be unable to acquire a visa and will need to defer their study abroad plans to a future term.
Italy Visa Workshop
October 9, 3:25 p.m.鈥4:25 p.m.
161 William Street, 16th Floor Conference Room
Students studying in Italy for the Spring 2025 semester must attend this visa workshop to learn the specific steps of the visa application process, which takes up to 12 weeks to complete. Note: Students participating in the group application process must submit all required visa materials to the 桃瘾社区 Education Abroad office by October 18. If this deadline is missed, the student must make an individual appointment with the Consulate to acquire a student visa. Individual appointments are not guaranteed and are difficult to come by.
France Visa Workshop

All students studying abroad during the January Intersession 2025 term must attend one of the pre-departure orientation sessions listed above, which covers important academic, housing, travel, health and safety information. Those who do not attend will not be able to register for their study abroad CRN, jeopardizing their ability to study abroad.
