Together, we are creating a safer campus for our students and the students who follow; we are improving our policies, procedures, and programming; we are raising awareness about sexual assault and dating violence; we are teaching people how to be more than a bystander; we are making a difference. Join us by getting involved on campus!

Host a Workshop

The Office of Sexual and Interpersonal Wellness provides presentations and workshops on a range of issues related to sexual and interpersonal wellness, interpersonal harm, and healthy relationships. Any group of students from residence hall floors, Greek life, athletics teams, student organizations, or even a group of friends can request a workshop, presentation, or facilitated conversation from the Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Education Specialist and/or a peer educator. The most commonly requested workshops focus on bystander intervention, healthy relationships, dating norms, consent, supporting a survivor, and sexual health education. If you're a faculty or staff member, the office can provide workshops and lead conversations about these topics as they pertain to your roleson campus.

Attend an Event

The Office of Sexual and Interpersonal Wellness hosts programming throughout the academic year, led by peer educators. The majority of events happen during Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October) and Sexual Violence Awareness Month (April), but there are events from August-May to engage, educate, and support the campus community. Peer educators lead discussion groups, movie screenings, social media campaigns, safer sex and sexual health education events, tabling and outreach sessions, self-care events and more. Any group on campus can co-sponsor or suggest ideas for an event.
