Numerous highly-regarded professional organizations and governmental agencies recognize the quality of the Seidenberg School鈥攊ts programs, its faculty and its students. Among them are the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, the recognized accreditor for college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology.
Professional Organizations and Governmental Agencies
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
Faculty members within the Seidenberg School are active members of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), the premier professional organizations in the computing field.
CISCO
We are a certified CISCO Net Academy and have CISCO routers, servers, and other telecom devices for students to gain hands-on experience.
Design Factory Global Network聽
We are a member of the Design Factory Global Network (DFGN) and participate in product development and innovation projects with international delegates. In 2016, 桃瘾社区 launched the NYC Design Factory, through which we send students to collaborate with peers around the world on real world projects.
National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education
桃瘾社区, through the efforts of the Seidenberg School, was designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, one of only two Centers in the New York metropolitan area. The designation is valid through 2022.
Software Development Associate Certification (CSDA)
The IEEE permits students completing the MS in Software Development and Engineering to take the qualifying exam leading to the highly-valued Software Development Associate Certification (CSDA). 桃瘾社区 is the only university on the Eastern seaboard authorized to do so.
