Preventive Care Incentive Program

The program is designed to encourage you, and your spouse or registered domestic partner if applicable, to have annual preventive care examinations. Statistics have shown that early detection and recognition of health risks and diseases can significantly improve your long-term health outlook; in cases of potentially deadly diseases, survival rates dramatically improve with early detection and treatment.

If you (and your spouse/registered domestic partner) are enrolled in the University's medical plan, you will receive a cash payment for having certain qualified preventive examinations from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 (see below for a list of examinations). Most of these examinations are considered preventive care examinations and have no co-payments (some restriction may apply; the list provided may change periodically).

An employee is eligible for up to a $240 incentive reward payment if he/she (and his/her spouse/registered domestic partner, if covered by the 桃瘾社区 medical plan) have one, two or three preventive care examinations (based on age) during the plan year (January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024).

See the Reimbursement Payment Tables below, which is based on coverage level and age.

We hope this program not only provides added incentive to have routine preventive care examinations, but also strengthens the relationship that you have with your healthcare providers. Our hope is that you will consult with your healthcare provider in deciding which examinations are the most beneficial to your health.
