Speech, Language and Hearing Center

The Speech, Language, and Hearing Center at 桃瘾社区 has served the needs of the University and its surrounding community for more than 30 years. The newly renovated Center is home to state-of-the-art equipment and technology for the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of communication disorders. The Center serves as an integral part of the education and training of graduate students enrolled in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program. Licensed and certified speech-language pathologists supervise and work hand-in-hand with graduate students to provide hands-on training and education.

Our Services

The licensed and supervising speech-language pathologists and students can provide diagnostic and therapeutic intervention for a wide range of communication disorders and delays. Services are provided in both individual and group settings. Treatment and diagnostic areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Articulation and phonological disorders
  • Bilingual language development and delays
  • Developmental language delays and disorders
  • Feeding and swallowing issues
  • Neurogenic and acquired issues
  • Pervasive developmental disorders

The Center is conveniently located in lower Manhattan near the Fulton Center with access to the A, C, J, Z, 2, 3, 4, and 5 subway lines. The Center offers reasonable rates and flexible scheduling options.
