Last month, they and several other members of the ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø Commercial Dance community performed alongside some heavy-hitting A-listers at MTV's VMAs.

After a stint at LSU, 29-year-old Pavon earned her degree in Commercial Dance at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø in New York City, then moved to Los Angeles, and has since been performing in movies, commercials, music videos and with female artists like Pink, Avril Lavigne, Dua Lipa, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain and of course Beyoncè.

Since its creation in 2014, the ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø School of Performing Arts (PPA) has been a leader in producing top talent, with its graduates widely represented in the film, TV, theater, and dance industries.

When the program launched within ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø’s Dyson College of Arts and Sciences nearly two decades ago, it was Manhattan’s first new performing arts school in almost half a century. Today, in keeping with its long tradition of innovation and in recognition of the rapidly evolving industry, PPA is getting its own stand-alone identity: The Sands College of Performing Arts.

Director and choreographer will be working with students at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø School of Performing Arts on the development of a new show titled, BANKSY. Just as the artist is anonymous, so is the author of this newly workshopped production. Created as a play with music and set in present-day London, BANKSY is a modern reimagining of the life of the world’s most famous street artist, and her efforts to fight the British government’s intention to enact policies harmful to women.
