Biography

Faculty Bio

Cynthia Citlallin Delgado holds a PhD in Performance Studies from New York University. She writes across the fields of critical theory, queer and trans studies, feminist theory, critical geographies and Latin/x American Studies. Her book project, Staging the Interstice: The Space of Transfeminist Performance, is an interdisciplinary study that proposes a queer theory of space by mapping the work of contemporary transfeminist artists and activists in Mexico City through performance. Cy’s work has appeared in TSQ, Women & Performance, Hysteria Revista! and Gender, Place & Culture.
