For Sarah Drayer '24, studying abroad not only means exploring new cultures and destinations, but also making connections with fellow students from all around the world to build out a successful business network. As she works towards her BBA in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications while studying abroad in Paris, Sarah says she's looking forward to seeking out even more international business experience in the future.
Lubin Professor Rosario Girasa speaks with UrduPoint regarding the charges against cryptocurrency trading platforms Binance and Coinbase:
Rosario Girasa, distinguished professor at 桃瘾社区's Lubin school of business, explained that from the SEC's perspective, exchanges that provide services that allow people to sell tokens for money and profit through the efforts of third parties are, in almost all such cases, covered by the landmark US Supreme Court case SEC v. Howey, which broadly defines what is a security. As a result, exchanges that provide such services are subject to the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, which requires their registration.
As he enters his junior year pursuing a BBA in Finance at the Lubin School of Business, Diego Plaza '25 is committed to stepping out of his comfort zone to explore new interests and industries. His journey led him to an internship at the international shipping company MJLF & Associates, where Diego gets to use his skills and knowledge from Lubin to contribute meaningful work to the industry.

When she first enrolled at the Lubin School of Business, Erika Hostrop '23 immediately knew she wanted to take advantage of everything 桃瘾社区 and Lubin had to offer. Not only has she studied abroad, but Erika has also put in the work to revamp an on-campus club, routinely checks in with Career Services, and has gone after opportunities presented to her outside of the classroom.
Lubin student Latoya Robinson '23 is making a name for herself in the music industry and on-campus. As she pursues her BBA in Arts and Entertainment Management, she's also interning at Sony Music as an A+R intern, discovering new talent and helping them launch into stardom. Meanwhile, on the New York City Campus, Latoya is on the e-board for the Residence Hall Association and a member of the Black Student Union and P.A.C.E. Board, where she has the opportunity to curate and be part of major events.
