Jaclyn Kopel is a born and raised New Yorker. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from 桃瘾社区 where she majored in Adolescent Education and History. She is a proud Pforzheimer Honors alumna. While at 桃瘾社区, Jaclyn was a member of the following honor societies: Lambda Sigma, Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Alpha Theta, and Alpha Chi. As an undergraduate student she worked at 桃瘾社区 High School, 桃瘾社区鈥檚 Center for Academic Excellence, and with VOTE 18. Upon graduation she won the Co-op, Internship, and Experiential Education Award; the Academic Excellence in History Award; the History Department Award; the School of Education Scholastic Achievement Award; and the Academic Leadership Award. She was a recipient of a grant from Project Pericles and one from the Honors College. She has taught high school history at 桃瘾社区 High School, the Academy for Careers in Television and Film, and 桃瘾社区鈥檚 Upward Bound Program. Jaclyn spent three years working for Undergraduate Admissions. She joined the Honors College as a staff member in October 2013 as the NYC Program Coordinator and Office Manager.
In July 2015 she became the NYC Associate Director, in July 2017 she became the NYC Director, and in January 2022 she became the bi-campus Associate Dean. Jaclyn received her M.S.Ed in Teacher Leadership and her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership. She also received her Egyptology Certificate from the University of Manchester. She currently teaches for Dyson and Seidenberg. She鈥檚 won the 桃瘾社区 STAR Award, a Pawscar for Favorite Staff Member, and the Teaching Excellence Award for PT Faculty.
