Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Webinar


The 桃瘾社区 Women’s Justice Center, Hope’s Door and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association are pleased to host a Continuing Legal Education Program presented by the WWBA Domestic Violence Committee: Best Practices for Representing Survivors of Domestic Violence

This program will focus on trauma Informed lawyering and understanding how to establish an effective attorney-client relationship while building trust and offering support to survivors.

Credits: 1.0 CLE Credit Professional Practice (pending approval*)

Time: 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. (Registration mandatory for MMP members following the mandatory Moderate Means Panel meeting from 12:45p.m. to 1:00p.m.)

Location: Zoom video conferencing (Zoom link will be sent prior to the start time of the program to all registrants)

Cost: $15.00 for WWBA Members | $25.00 Non-members | FREE for members of the 桃瘾社区 Women’s Justice Center Moderate Means Panel

*CLE: Pending approval by WBASNY in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board 1 credit hour in professional practice as specified, acceptable for transitional credit for established and newly admitted attorneys. The Westchester Woman’s Bar Association is a chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. Full and partial scholarships for this program, based on financial needs, are available. Full scholarships for the $10 CLE certificate charge (maximum of 10 attendees) for this program are available for attorneys at non-profit organizations that provide direct legal service for victims of domestic violence.
