Master the business of Publishing for Today’s World

For almost 40 years, we have worked with students like you who want to acquire the skills, experience, and industry contacts that can help to build a career in publishing. You will gain comprehensive hands-on training in every aspect of the business behind publishing books, magazines, and digital media. Our experienced faculty, straight from the industry, will work closely with you to build confidence and skills in: content creation and editing, marketing strategies, book and magazine production, financial applications, and all aspects of digital publishing.

Unique Opportunities

The MS in Publishing program provides publishing education to students and publishing professionals from all over the world; Italy, Brazil, France, Norway, Spain, Canada, Columbia, India, and England, to name just a few places.

The Professorship gives you access to learn from the most successful, innovative, and influential people in the publishing world. The goal being to deepen connections between you and the industry while exposing you to the latest insights, innovations, and trends in the business.

We help you gain valuable industry knowledge and experience in hands-on positions. You have a choice to intern at book and magazine publishers, literary agencies, academic publishers, independent presses, digital-only publishers, and in a variety of companies that are flourishing in the digital age.

You will have access to our successful blog to showcase your pieces related to the publishing industry as well as two publishing creative suite labs to collaborate with your cohort. We also provide you with many entry ways to connect with publishing professionals and alumni through student appreciation and industry collaboration events.

The ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø Publishing program helped me to meet the right people and gain the practical knowledge necessary for the job I do today. It was an invaluable experience, and I loved my time in the program.
